What time should I arrive?

Please arrive 10 minutes before your initial class.  This will allow our staff to have time and meet with you and discuss your goals and physical capabilities.

You will also need to complete a waiver form.

What will my first time in your gym be like?

Your first time in, we want you to feel comfortable. One of our awesome coaches will give you a tour of the facilities, we’ll sit down with you and walk through your goals, we’ll do a quick fitness assessment with you, and we’ll walk through what you can expect.

What will be covered in my first session?

We’ll cover everything you need to know about how our schedule works and how the membership pricing works.

Meet and Greet
Chances are you’re pretty awesome and we want to know more about you.  Where are you coming from?  How did you find us?  What have you done in the past?  What are you going to accomplish?  Share your story with us and let’s get started on the right foot.

How is the class time structured?

Classes are run efficiently with one goal in mind.  To help our athletes get in shape and do so efficiently as possible.  This means time is not wasted.  Group classes last 1 hour and are broken down as follows:

  • 5-10 minutes:  Group warmup/Skill work with coach
  • 15-20 minutes: Strength Work
  • 10-25 minutes: Workout of the Day
What should I bring to my first class?
  1.  A positive attitude, ready to learn!
  2.  Workout clothes and shoes
  3.  A water bottle (we have a water cooler)
How many calories will I typically burn in class?

Though this ranges for individuals and from class-to-class you can expect to burn on average 250-350 calories per hour of class time.

How long will my first session take?

The intro will take 10-15 minutes. If you are planning on working out (which we HIGHLY recommend), plan on 1 hour total.

Why is your gym more expensive than other gyms?

We know you may have a lot of choices on where to workout. What’s best… A treadmill at home? The gym down the street that is $15/month? A CrossFit membership? We’d actually encourage you to ask a different question. What are your goals? Personalized attention? Trained, professional coaches? Accountability? Working out with a group of like-minded people who cheer on your success? If the answer to any of the above is “yes”, then we’d encourage you to check us out.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

This is optional.  We offer 3-month, 6-month and 12-month contracts.  The longer of a period you sign up for, the bigger discount you receive.  This is one way we give back to our athletes who commit to the program.

Upon completion of initial commitment, your contract rolls over into a month-to-month agreement.

What forms of payment do you accept?

All monthly auto payments require a Credit Card on file.

1st Month Payments and Paid-In-Full memberships can be paid with:

  • Cash
  • Check
  • Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express & Discover)
How do I apply for work at Jacked Athletics & Nutrition?

We are always looking for awesome people to add to our team.

To be considered, please reach out to us directly to fill out an application.

Should we have a need and think you might be a good fit for our team, we will contact you to schedule a sit down. Otherwise, we will keep your application on file for future consideration.

Thank you!

How often do you recommend I come to the gym?

If you’re just starting up, we recommend coming three days/week for your first couple weeks, then build to four, then five. Once you’re up to five days per week, we recommend building in two recovery days per week.

What’s your drop-in policy?

We love nothing more than having visitors from other boxes come “throw down” with us!
If you are just passing through, we charge a drop in fee of $15 per day or offer a week-long punch pass for $40.

It’d be great if you’d plan on arriving 10 minutes before scheduled class time so we can provide you with a waiver to sign and introduce you to our box. You can find our class schedule Here.

You may find that we do things a little differently than your gym back home.  We hope that you enjoy the change in scenery, clientele, maybe even music. If anything makes you uncomfortable, however, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

I just relocated/looking for a new gym and I’d like to check you out prior to joining.

If you are experienced gym-goer, Weightlifter, or Strongman, we will give you a complimentary day. If you feel Jacked Athletics and Nutrition is the right gym for you, we’ll get you started on our Jacked Jump Start program. Please contact us at Fabre4fitness@gmail.com.

What type of workout can I expect?

Think of our gym as a boot camp with a barbell.  High intensity workouts intertwined with strength training.

Have you never used a barbell before?   Neither have many who have walked through the doors of our gym.  We utilize the barbell to incorporate compound movements which work a variety of muscles in the body.  It’s rare we work a muscle in isolation (think bicep curls).

We’ve got you covered as our coaches are here to help train and guide you throughout the session.  Our staff is here to help the uncomfortable feel a bit more comfortable for you.

Can I do my own thing during class?

For any experienced gym-goers, Weightlifters, and Strongman, we have an Open Gym area where you can follow your own programming. We only ask that you follow our house rules.

They are:

  1. Class has priority.
  2. Clips on all bars with weight even while warming up. No exceptions.
  3. Have fun!
What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is give 30 days’ notice.

Early termination of your contract is subject to an early termination fee of the lesser of 25% total contract value or whatever months remain on your contract.

We know walking through the door is the hardest part. You take the first step and we’ll meet you where you are.
